Log books and sleep checks
Log books shows what each home filed for the day. Homes that have not filed are listed first. Step between days with ‹ and ›, filter by region, or search by provider or home.
Tiles. Not filed, Started, Submitted, Not required and Homes each show a count. Click one to list just those homes; click it again, or Homes, for all of them.
Not required. A home with no children that day (none scheduled on an open day, none checked in, none still here from last night) doesn’t need a log book. It shows Not required today, comes last, and doesn’t count against the home’s compliance. A child checked in on a closure day makes it due: care happened, and the provider’s Compliance page says the same.
Pages. The list shows 25 homes a page. A new day, region, search or tile starts again on page 1.
Edited records. A provider can correct a record after filing it. Every change is kept. The home shows an Edited mark, and the record lists each change under Changes after submission. The PDF includes them too.
Home visits. When you visit a home, sign yourself into its log book: + Record a visit, pick the home, tap Now beside Arrived, then Record visit. A banner at the top keeps your visit open until you tap Sign out now when you leave. To record a visit afterwards, pick the day and enter the times; it can’t be a future day. Write what you checked or discussed under Notes for the log book; you can add to them later with Edit. The home shows a Visited mark and who came; open the home to see the notes, and who added the visit and who changed it, or to correct or delete a visit. The provider sees your visit on that day’s log book but can’t change it, it prints on the PDF, and it doesn’t count as the provider filing the day.
Sleep checks shows every nap logged across your homes for one day, with the visual checks under each nap. Filter by date, region or home. Homes are listed 10 a page.
The numbers filter the list. Tap Napping now, Checks overdue or Gaps over limit to see only those naps. Naps logged, the same number again, or Show all naps brings back every nap.
