Messaging parents

One conversation per child. A parent sees only their own child’s thread.

Starting Pick the child; children with no thread yet show “No messages yet — say hello”. Write and press Send. The thread exists once the first message is sent.

From the dashboard Message parent on a child’s ⋮ menu opens a small box: type, Send, done.

Messages are text only. Send a photo through Activities or the Newsfeed instead.

An amber dot marks unread threads. Opening a thread marks it read. There is no per-message “seen by parent” receipt.

The agency does not see your conversations with parents.
