Safe arrival

Where. Sidebar › Compliance › Safe arrival, and the panel on your dashboard

When a child scheduled today is an hour past their start time with no check-in and no absence marked, a case opens. It shows on your dashboard between the shortcuts and the cards, from 6 am to 8 pm.

Note. There is no push notification or email for this, by agency policy. Check the dashboard through the morning.

Make the calls The panel lists the numbers to call in order: parents first, then the emergency contact, each one tap to dial. Log every attempt: Reached if you spoke to them, No answer if you did not. No answer becomes Try Again after the first attempt and the badge counts attempts.

Reached a parent Tap Reached, add a note if useful, then Confirmed Coming or Mark Absent. Either closes the case.

No one answers After every number has been tried, the panel says to escalate if no one calls back within 15 minutes. After 15 minutes an Escalate to agency button appears. Tap it and the office takes over; the case leaves your panel. If you take no action at all, the system escalates on its own after about half an hour.

The case closes When the child arrives and you check them in, when you mark them absent, or when you record that you reached a parent.

The Safe arrival page The same cases with a date picker. Needs calls now lists open cases; below it are the other children scheduled that day. Each row shows the scheduled time, its outcome, and the call log (“4:12 PM — You → Mum: no answer”). Past days are read-only. History on the dashboard panel shows the last 14 days.

This is a licensing record. Log what really happened.
